Head of Sales - Energi Salg Norge

Energi Salg Norge is part of Energi Danmark Group, which has a strong financial backbone and is represented across the Nordics. Energi Salg Norge offers a wide range of energy services within power, CO2, green certificates, oil and gas, with focus on consultancy, portfolio management and tailored reporting to meet their customers' needs. Through partners, Energi Salg Norge delivers everything from sustainability strategies and award-winning energy follow-up tools to market analyses and training. Today, Energi Salg Norge is the second largest electricity supplier to the business market in Norway, with its head office in Oslo and a branch office in Trondheim.
The Role
As Head of Sales, you'll work closely with the CEO to execute a strategy focused on repositioning the company in the Norwegian market. You'll lead a team of four, manage customer relationships, and drive sales in a dynamic market. Based in Oslo, the role also involves some travel to Denmark and Sweden.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a Go-to-Market plan and sales budget with the CEO.
- Lead business transformation and repositioning.
- Strengthen customer relationships and oversee account plans.
- Monitor revenue, profit, and key performance indicators.
- Implement Group methodologies and tools.
Your goal is to set the right market strategy and achieve sales budget objectives for Norway and international sales.
Your Profile
You might not work in the energy sector today, but you have profound experience with the industry, and you regard this opportunity as unique and a good match to your personal goals. We envision that you are an experienced, ambitious market- and sales-oriented executive with extensive B2B experience, who acknowledges that the top priority is to engage and build profitable relationships with customers together with an engaged and skilled team.
As a leader, you set and manage expectations in a change-oriented environment, and with your ‘can-do’ attitude and a strong drive, you are a role model for a ‘to be culture’. As a people manager, you excel at developing team members, driving engagement and fostering a sense of ownership within your team. As a person, you are performance-oriented, a strong networker, and possess proven skills in sales performance management.
Professionally, you represent the following experience and skills:
- A commercial and market-oriented leader with a background from the energy sector, preferably with experience in professional services.
- Experience with a proven track record in sales and market development.
- Competence development and change management.
- Broad experience working in the Nordics, with a multicultural awareness and fluency in both Norwegian and English.
- Team player with great collaboration skills.
